ARTIST STATEMENT

I use a variety of mixed media techniques to create my work. Acrylic paint and a variety of papers are collaged onto canvas using a gel medium. Old book pages, rice paper, and tissue paper are used. Using these techniques, I produce work that is darkly whimsical with a touch of the surreal.
