ARTIST STATEMENT

My mixed-media collage process incorporates hand-painted dry wax papers with acrylic paint, acrylic ink, and watercolor crayons. Combined, these materials allow me to accentuate interesting textures, and watercolor blooms and build translucent layers to create depth.
