ARTIST STATEMENT
I work in Relief, both Linocut and Woodcut. My art is an exploration of how to capture the essence of a subject/or emotion by removing (chiseling) away what is unnecessary. I take a traditional craft and make something new, something that doesn't feel bound to any particular time or place.
