ARTIST STATEMENT
Etchings and drawings are a foundation for a unique encaustic hot wax process I have developed. Layers of materials like rice papers, intentionally rusted fabrics, powdered pigments, wax pastels, and more are embedded within numerous layers of beeswax creating the illusion of depth and history.
